Private schools in Melbourne have years of history, good facility and great teaching
staff. Most of them were founded and have been operated by Methodist
foundations or catholic foundations. Religious schools typically ask
students to attend religion class while they mark the top tier in terms
of student’s academic achievement or performance in the Arts every
year, thanks to their quality teaching staff and higher education
enthusiasm of the students.
It is not easy for an international student to
enter prestigious private schools as they are very popular and some of
them even have a waiting list of 3 years. Their assessments focus on an
English proficiency result (AEAS test result required), outstanding
achievement in the Arts, Sports or Academic performance. Therefore, it
is important to prepare letters of recommendation or honours the
student has received in relation with his/her talent when making
