Most courses offered in Australian universities are of traditional disciplines. Australian universities are especially slow in offering a new course. It is mostly because the country is economically stable with lesser possibility of drastic social changes. However, recently there have been noticeable changes in skills and labour demands, which has began to reflect on the sought-after degrees in tertiary education.

Courses recommended for PR applicants

Independent skilled migration has become more difficult these days; more specialized study areas and/or industries in short of supply are popular among the students who wish to apply for a PR.
Bachelor or Accounting:
There is constant demand of experienced accountants in Australia.
Bachelor of IT:
IT experts are still in need. Networking, Security and Programming fields are in short of experienced professionals.
Bachelor of Engineering:
As most of engineering degrees require 4 years of intensive study, there is still much need for professionals.
Bachelor of pharmacy:
Pharmacy colleges are most difficult to graduate in 4 years. However, the career outlook is very bright after graduation.
Bachelor of Nursing:
Nurses are also much needed in Australia.
Courses recognized world-wide Demands for finance or trade related courses, as well as for the graduates with knowledge and experience can be found anywhere in the world. e.g. Bachelor of Commerce, Banking & Finance, Risk management, international development, international business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, etc.

Bachelor of Air transport Management :
-studying area: air transport related management and other related studies
-career: airport, control tower, etc.
Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics :
-studying area: food, nutrition and diet -career: diet consulting, diet clinic, etc.
Courses recommended for girl students For girl students, teaching/social welfare/design/nursing/translation/interpreting courses are recommended as these can be a good career choice when they return to their country.
