What is a Pathway?

If you have a satisfactory IELTS result with a high GPA that would help you make a successful application for a university course, there wouldn’t be much to worry about. However, it could be difficult to be accepted by the university if a student hasn’t met the English requirement or the GPA requirement. For such international students, some universities have set up a program called Foundation that would help students go on the universities

For example, you may complete a diploma offered by Monash college in Monash university, and then transfer into the 2nd year of Monash University. The followings are examples of this type of

Package offer is a program that lets you enrol both college + university together and apply for your visa for the combined studying period. Its weak point is that there might be some difficulties if a student’s academic achievement was not satisfactory during the college’s studying period, or the original plan has changed and the student wish to enter a university other than the programmed.

University Pathways/Packaged Offer

Each foundation school/course has a different GPA requirement. You need to check it with the school you are interested in. In most cases, the minimum prior education level is Year 12 equivalents. Documents you need to prepare include an academic transcript in the high school, a graduate certificate and an IETLS/TOEFL result. If you don’t have the required English proficiency test result or your score doesn’t meet the requirement, you may complete an English language course before enrolling the course of interest.

RMIT Uni RMIT TAFE graduates are eligible to transfer into the 1st or the 2nd year in RMIT university. Prior education recognition depends on each course. For credit recognition, you may contact each faculty in the university. e.g. Bachelor of Business (Accounting: 4 years) $16,800/year
