In general, TAFE tuition fee is appx. AU$10,000/year, while a few degrees that require
textbooks & materials fees can be more expensive. In most cases,
you need to pay appx. AU$5,000 every 6 months, for 2 years (4 terms) to
complete a degree. Entry requirements for TAFEs are tougher than
private colleges; Most TAFEs ask IETLS 5.5 (Aacademic module) and some
of them, even 6.0.
Some private colleges accept students with the
condition of enrolling their affiliated language schools. Or if a
student reach a certain level in EAP course, they might recognize the
case as an IELTS 5.5 equivalent.
